Primary Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and microservices using Java (8+) and Spring Boot, Spring Camel
• Event-Driven Architecture: Implement and manage Kafka-based messaging systems, including producers, consumers, and data pipelines for real-time stream processing
• Database Management: Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL schemas; write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure data integrity and high performance
• API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend systems and backend logic
• Code Quality & Maintenance: Write unit and integration tests (using JUnit/Mockito), and troubleshoot complex software defects
• System Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks in high-traffic systems and implement caching strategies (e.g., Redis) or query optimizations to improve responsiveness
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Frontend, DevOps, and Product Owners, to define system architecture and project workflows

Required Qualifications:

• BE/Btech/MCA education qualifications
• Streaming & Messaging: Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (including Kafka Streams, Connect, or Schema Registry)
• Data Persistence: Solid knowledge of SQL/MySQL, including indexing, join optimization, and database normalization
• Cloud Exposure: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure(Preferred) and AWS is often preferred for deploying cloud-native solutions
• Core Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Java (OOP, SOLID principles, Multithreading, and Data Structures)
• Development Tools: Proficiency with version control (Git), build tools (Maven), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Analytical Thinking: Proven solid problem-solving skills to break down complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
