A hands-on Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead responsible for leading the full development lifecycle (Java/Azure) and driving technical excellence within the team. This role combines deep technical expertise in building complex microservices with leadership qualities to mentor junior engineers. You will be a key driver in integrating AI components into enterprise solutions and setting the standard for utilizing AI tools to optimize development workflows.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers to elevate team capabilities. Act as the technical owner for feature delivery
• Design, build, and deploy complex, scalable, and robust microservices using Java and Angular/React on Azure
• Lead the implementation of AI-powered product features and define best practices for leveraging AI coding assistants to maximize team productivity and innovation
• Drive system architecture decisions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Enforce coding standards and automated testing frameworks to ensure enterprise-grade software quality
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Extensive hands-on experience architecting and deploying Microservices on Azure (or AWS/GCP) using Docker, Kubernetes, and managing advanced CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps)
• Deep expertise in backend development using Java (Spring Boot) and frontend development using Angular or React, with a solid grasp of System Design and Design Patterns
• Advanced knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (Complex data modeling, performance tuning) and designing secure, high-volume RESTful APIs
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, make architectural decisions, and mentor team members in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Proven track record of using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise) to drive efficiency, alongside experience designing applications that integrate LLMs/AI models
• Proven superior communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical strategies into business value for stakeholders and product managers
