About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of our Segment Builder product. You will be a key technical contributor in a modern monorepo architecture — designing and building a reusable React component library for audience segmentation, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring peers. You will also collaborate on a NestJS BFF service that bridges frontend needs with backend data.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, cares deeply about code quality, and can balance hands-on engineering with technical leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Own and lead the development of a React + TypeScript component library, setting standards for architecture, reusability, and performance

  • Design and implement complex async state management solutions using Redux Toolkit + Redux-Saga

  • Drive technical decisions around monorepo structure, build tooling, and shared infrastructure across packages

  • Contribute to and review the NestJS BFF layer for API aggregation and data transformation

  • Champion a test-first culture — define testing strategies across unit (Vitest), integration (Testing Library), and E2E (Cypress) layers

  • Lead code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and raise the bar for the team

  • Collaborate with product and design to translate complex requirements into scalable frontend solutions

  • Participate in OpenAPI-driven development workflows and auto-generated client SDK pipelines

  • Proactively identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and scalability risks

Requirements

Frontend Expertise

  • 5+ years of frontend engineering experience, with 3+ years in production React

  • Deep expertise in TypeScript — strong typing discipline, generics, and type-safe API design

  • Proven experience with Redux Toolkit + Redux-Saga in large-scale applications

  • Strong understanding of component design patterns, performance optimization, and accessibility

  • Experience configuring and optimizing Vite and/or Webpack 5 for production builds

Engineering Leadership

  • Experience working in and contributing to a monorepo architecture (Yarn Workspaces or equivalent)

  • Track record of defining and enforcing testing standards across unit, integration, and E2E layers

  • Comfortable leading technical design discussions and making architecture trade-off decisions

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and ensuring deployment reliability

  • Strong code review skills — able to give constructive, high-signal feedback

Nice to Have
  • Experience with NestJS or Node.js backend development

  • Familiarity with Micro-frontend architecture (Single-SPA)

  • Experience with OpenAPI / Swagger-driven development and client code generation

  • Background publishing or maintaining a component library or design system

  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments

  • Domain experience in SaaS, AdTech, or MarTech

Benefits:
  • Flexible paid time off, paid holidays, options for working from home, and paid parental leave.

  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: LiveRamp offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to help you be your best self in your personal and professional lives. Our benefits package offers medical, dental, vision, accident, life and disability, an employee assistance program, voluntary benefits as well as perks programs for your healthy lifestyle, career growth, and more.
