Main responsibilities:

• Understand how Change Request Management Process works. Good knowledge in Solution Manager concepts like Solution Documentation, Request for Change, Change Document, Normal corrections, urgent corrections, continual cycles, project cycles and release cycles, Solution Documentation.
• Manage and understand the different kind of Solution Manager cycles: continual, phase and release cycles.
• SAP Transport Management knowledge. Understand the impact and analyse any transport violation sequence of imports happening in the systems. Strong knowledge in SAP object versioning and how these violations affect and how to prevent them.
• Provide support as a first point of contact in Solution Manager when an issue appears in a change document process, related with the transports or any other Solution Manager check for each change document status.
• Availability to manage the import strategy working closely with Release Manager and conflict management team. Providing the expertise and acting in operational mode to import transports when it is necessary.
• Provide feedback and improvements for new developments or implementations to avoid issues in the operational execution.
• Create reports about Retrofit, Transports moved per cycle on each system and any valuable information required by project and maintenance teams.
• Landscape Management in Solution Manager.
• Understand how Authorizations works in Solution Manager based on Business profiles, Manage Business Partners and BRF+ decision tables maintenance.

About you

Experience:

• 5+ years work experience on Solution Manager, including similar technical platform management activities.
• Deep Knowledge in SAP Solution Manager (Change Request Management, Cross System Object Lock, Retrofit, Quality Gate Management, Cycle Management, CTS+, Focused Build, Cloud ALM)
• Deep expertise on SAP Transport Management, Basis knowledge oriented.
• General knowledge in SAP infrastructure.
• Significant experience in IT service management and tools (ITIL, ServiceNow, Solman).
• Experience in SAP Lifecycle Management.
• SAP Cloud ALM is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple and parallel SAP platform lifecycles.
• At ease with Microsoft Office tools, and in general with IS tools.
• Solid technology expertise in SAP technology and integrated tools. Proven successful experience in SAP ERP production (ECC6, S4 Hana), related landscape and lifecycle (migration, new module implementation, etc…).
• Can communicate solutions, ideas, suggestions to a variety of stakeholders effectively and comprehensibly.
• Conceptual and analytical thinking – ability to extract, analyse, and document complex business and technical requirements or strategies.
• Deep understanding of Application and technology Architecture.
• Knowledge of technological trends.

Technical skills:

We are looking for ERP Lifecycle Administrator who has strong expertise in following technologies:

• ECC, DB HANA, S4HANA, SAP Basis, SAP NetWeaver, Solution Manager, SAP Fiori, BW/4 HANA, BW/BI, JAVA Systems.

Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering

Languages: Fluent spoken and written English
