Why Lytx:
As an experienced QA Automation Engineer, you’ll work with industry-leading Fleet Tracking Software, which manages massive amounts of video and data collected from over 600,000 vehicles worldwide. At Lytx, you’ll work to validate a cutting-edge technology which uses also machine vision and artificial intelligence (MV+AI) to improves safety and helps save lives on our roadways.
You will be responsible for developing cloud-based non functional and functional testing of Lytx products. You will be focusing on validating the product’s quality in terms of load, performance, stress, and understanding edge cases, and exploring the limits of our system. "You will be working close with the automation and software teams and will take a major role in improving our product quality. Doesn’t that sound exciting?
You’ll Get To:
- Responsible for designing cloud based non functional and functional testing
- Work directly with DevOps, Automation, RnD , QA and product teams
- Work with global automation scrum team according to Agile software development methodology
- Define tests that can only be validated using tests automation
- Review and analyze requirements specifications,technical design documents, and providing timely feedback as part of a test plan definition process.
- Work and collaborate as an integral part of a worldwide QA team based in India, US and Israel
What You’ll Need:
- BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of hands on experience in designing and developing cloud based non functional and functional testing using TypeScript , JavaScipt or any other object-oriented programming language
- Create and execute test strategy and plan for Load, Performance, Stress and
other non-functional testing - Monitor application logs to determine system behavior
- Proficiency with load and performance testing and tools
- Experience with Playwright testing framework – big advantage
- Experience with Jenkins, Jenkinfiles ,containers, dockers and CI/CD environments
- Familiarity with Bitbucket ,Git and JIRA
- Deep understanding and knowledge of object-oriented design practices and patterns.
- Experience with NewRelic and SQL – big advantage
- Familiarity with AWS cloud architecture – big advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills; adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- A team player , highly motivated with excellent communication and collaboration skills
