The Opportunity

The Head of Media, India will be responsible for overseeing the company’s operations in India, driving business growth, strategizing marketing initiatives, and leading a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and Execute Customized Marketing Strategies: Design and implement innovative marketing strategies specifically tailored to resonate with the Indian market, driving brand engagement and customer loyalty.
  • Accelerate Revenue Growth: Develop and execute initiatives that significantly boost revenue streams while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to enhance collaboration and maximize business potential.
  • Inspire and Lead the Local Team: Foster a dynamic work environment by mentoring and motivating team members to achieve ambitious business objectives and exceed performance targets.
  • Conduct Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends, consumer behaviors, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Drive Strategic Vision: Translate the company’s vision into actionable plans, setting priorities that align with overall business goals.
  • Establish Clear Team Objectives: Set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals for the team, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic direction.
  • Enforce Operational Compliance: Ensure that all team members adhere to established processes and best practices, maintaining efficiency and quality in operations.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and guarantee compliance with local regulations and internal company policies to mitigate risk and uphold the company’s integrity.
  • Act as Company Ambassador: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, promoting brand visibility and fostering valuable connections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing country-level operations.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, trends and tools
  • Previous hands on experience on the platforms preferred
