The role is to lead the Cash Flow function for Sandoz Actual Month Closing, Reporting and Analysis, Planning of Cash Flow forecast, support to manage NWC and Cash KPIs calculations and Matrix for MCF.


 

Job Description

Major accountabilities:

  • Lead the Cash Flow Actual reporting and analysis for monthly end closing (MEC) and present the Cash flow slides and bridges to Finance Leadership team (FLT).

  • Lead the Cash Flow planning and analysis for major planning cycles and monthly outlooks. Co-ordinate with the FIOH team for AI run process. Co-ordinate and provide guidance to Markets and Regional BPAs for their cash flow submissions. Manage the central entries and finalize the Free Cash Flow (FCF) and Net Cash flow in Aspire system.

  • Prepare and present the Cash flow slides for the meeting with CFO, Sandoz Leadership Team (SLT) and Boad of Directors (BODs).

  • Prepare the NWC reports, calculate the Cash KPIs (CCC) based on both YTD Actuals and FY view based on Planning numbers and share the result with the stakeholders

  • Working closely with Finance Innovation and Operations Hub (FIOH) in Madrid, to drive standardization, simplification and automation of cash flow and Cash KPIs dashboard. Focus on continuous improvement of the data quality and include the changes in the updated dashboards

  • Lead the discussion with the treasury team on monthly cash flow projections. Provide and analyse the drivers of Actuals vs forecast and provide YTG forecast.

  • Maintain and run the Cash packages in Aspire system for MEC and Planning. Maintain the MCF Matrix file and continuously update with the new changes based on the monthly MCF reconciliation run. Calculate ACT Forex impact vs PY and TGT and present Fx Slide for CFO,

  • Calculate the YTG Fx risk vs PY and TGT, prepare the Fx simulation report and share with Head Global BPA and Treasury for Risk analysis and presenting to BOD. Prepare OIE report as part of MEC activity and share the report with Global BPA team for further use.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant financial/treasury/cashflow experience, extensive BPA experience in a Corporate Finance set-up is highly preferred.

  • Experience in global functions desirable. Used to work in multi-location/multi-market environment

  • Excellent analytical and strategic skills and ability to present to Senior Management Team/BODs.

  • Experience with interfacing effectively with parent and global counterparts.

  • In-depth knowledge of Sandoz business information systems and structure, including SHAPE, Data Warehouse, and BPC highly preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; ability to clearly explain financial information to a variety of audiences.

  • Strong IT skills including excellent proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
