What We'll Bring:
Cloud Sec and Crypto Security Engineering are relatively new DevOps teams at TransUnion that are focused on building first-of-its-kind security products and services for the enterprise. As a member of this innovative agile team, you will collaborate with others to maintain and optimize capabilities required to secure data and applications operating in dynamic computing environments.
Engineers on this team will work with many popular vendor and open source technologies, internally developed applications and cloud native services. You will be challenged to provide technical and thought leadership and to succeed in this role, you need to be eager to learn, able to work through ambiguity, problem solve and communicate effectively.
What You'll Bring:
About You:
- 12+ years of total IT experience and 4+ years of software development and/or full-stack engineering experience
- Ample experience operating with cloud platforms, APIs and event-driven automation
- Hands-on experience with deploying and operating resources in AWS
- Proficient with popular scripting and programming language frameworks such as python, golang, java, and Scala
- Advocate of CI/CD best practices and robust experience working with technologies such as git, jenkins, terraform, and ansible
- Ability to translate policies into event-driven as-code solutions
- Good understanding of micro-service principles and immutable architecture
- Basic understanding and application of secrets management, data encryption and PKI
- Basic understanding and abilities with HashiCorp Vault
- Basic understanding and application of AWS IAM policies
- Basic understanding and application of AWS resource-based policies
- Passionate about innovation and enjoys the challenges of creating something new
- Displays strong technical and thought leadership skills and can collaborate with others to successful deliver large, complex initiatives
- Continuously looks for opportunities to simplify and optimize technology and processes
- Serves as a coach and mentor for junior team members
- Self-starter that demonstrates a solid understanding of the impact of own work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Help establish DevSecOps engineering practices and capabilities for our Cloud Sec and Crypto Security products in India
- Contribute to the technical direction of the Cloud/Crypto Security team in the role of Lead Engineer
- Enhance or develop capabilities that will securely scale our enterprise secrets management solution and other flagship crypto and cloud IAM services globally
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
