Design and iterate user flows, wireframes, mockups and high-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile. Conduct usability testing and user interviews, collaborate with stakeholders and developers, maintain design systems and style guides, and drive UX decisions to improve product usability and retention.
We are looking for a UX designer for software and platforms that meet user needs. Analytical and creative skills are a must to design the overall functionality of the product and ensure a great user experience.
The end goal would be to make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Understand product specifications and user psychology
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
- Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
- Facilitate the stakeholder’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products
- Find creative ways to solve UX problems (example: usability, findability)
- Design & deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys & mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
- Make strategic design & user experience decisions related to core & new functions and features
- Make a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
- Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
Experience we require:
- 6+ years UI/UX design experience; with hands on experience in design ecommerce applications (web and mobile) for B2B or B2C.
- Areas of focus for this role include Web Design, Mobile Design, PPT, Creative Asset Design, and Asset Manipulation skills
- Digital portfolio demonstrating strong understanding of design including:
- End-to-end project execution from start to finish including how it was informed by user feedback and data.
- Basic understanding of design systems and style guides
- Basic understanding of designing for responsive designs across digital channels (web/mobile)
- Experience with customer facing initiatives like user interviews and user testing.
- Proficiency in current design and collaboration tools, i.e., Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Atlassian tools, Confluence and Jira or equivalent tools
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience working with Design systems and brand guidelines/style guides.
- Advanced experience executing responsive design across digital channels.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript capabilities with the ability to work closely with engineers to implement designs.
- Experience with customer facing initiatives like user interviews and user testing.
- Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in prototyping across all projects, ensuring high-fidelity interaction
- Demonstrate a strong command of user experience (UX) principles, interface design, and interactive elements to create intuitive and engaging products.
- Influence and shape product direction through design-centered problem-solving, driving innovation and user-focused solutions
- Establish, maintain, and evolve a unified design framework to ensure consistency, scalability, and visual coherence across all platforms.
