Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative User Experience (UI/UX Designer) to support the design and development of user-centered digital products. This role involves translating user requirements into intuitive interfaces, conducting usability testing, and collaborating with development teams to ensure successful implementation. By fostering a deep understanding of user needs and emerging industry standards, the associate will contribute to delivering engaging digital solutions that enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth.
Software Requirements
Required:
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design creation.
Preferred:
Familiarity with collaborative design and version control tools like Zeplin or Abstract.
Overall Responsibilities
Support the creation and refinement of user-centered design solutions for web, mobile, and software platforms.
Analyze user requirements through research and interviews, translating insights into design strategies.
Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and improve user experience, ensuring prototypes meet user needs.
Collaborate effectively with developers and other design team members to ensure designs are accurately implemented.
Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging design tools, and best practices to continuously improve design quality.
Contribute to the development of design guidelines, standards, and documentation that support consistent user experiences.
Technical Skills (By Category)
Design Tools and Techniques
Required: Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch (proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs).
Preferred: Experience with design systems and style guides.
Problem Solving & User Research
Required: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and techniques.
Preferred: Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and analyzing user feedback.
Development and Collaboration

Experience Requirements
1-2 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably across websites, mobile applications, or software products.
Demonstrable experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in teams and under tight deadlines.
Alternative pathways: Experience in digital product design through internships, freelance projects, or academic coursework can be considered.
Day-to-Day Activities
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and project goals.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs based on identified user requirements.
Conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
Document design specifications and ensure designs align with project standards.
Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and design review sessions to share progress and insights.
Stay informed of the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and methodologies to enhance design deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
Certification in UI/UX or related disciplines is a plus.
