What will I be doing?
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for multi-tenant environments, focusing on technical execution and best practices
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that align with organizational standards and security requirements
- Perform hands-on implementation of cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS, ensuring compliance with architectural guidelines
- Conduct code reviews and participate in pair programming sessions to improve code quality and knowledge sharing
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues in production environments
- Automate routine operational tasks using necessary scripting and tools
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application infrastructure
- Document technical solutions, procedures, and knowledge to build team capabilities
What skills do I need?
- 7+ years of overall experience in Software Engineering with 4+ years of hands-on DevOps experience
- Strong technical proficiency in Terraform with demonstrated ability to implement complex infrastructure
- Proven experience building and managing infrastructure in Azure or AWS cloud platforms (preferably Azure with understanding on AWS)
- Advanced scripting abilities in Python and PowerShell with examples of automation solutions
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools ideally Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements
- Ability to mentor junior team members through technical guidance and knowledge sharing
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, implementable solutions
Nice to Have:
- Azure or AWS certifications demonstrating technical expertise
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor
- Knowledge of GitOps workflows and tools like Flux or ArgoCD
- Experience with infrastructure testing frameworks
- Experience in Team City
