Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales

    • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in target industries.

    • Drive revenue growth through consultative selling and value-based solutions.

  • Technical Expertise

    • Provide technical guidance on lubrication systems and tribology applications.

    • Conduct product demonstrations, trials, and technical workshops for customers.

  • Customer Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring long-term partnerships.

  • Solution Design

    • Analyze customer requirements and propose tailored lubrication solutions.

    • Collaborate with R&D and product teams for customized offerings.

  • Negotiation & Contract Management

    • Handle pricing discussions, proposals, and contractual agreements.

  • Market Intelligence

    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

  • Reporting & CRM

    • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and prepare sales forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering (with an additional MBA in marketing preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in technical sales, preferably in industrial products or lubrication solutions.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Strong communication and presentation skills.

    • Proven ability in consultative selling and solution-based approach.

    • Negotiation and closing expertise.

    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Knowledge of language like English, Tamil (required) and Hindi (preferred)

  • Technical Knowledge:

    • Lubrication systems, tribology, and mechanical components.

    • Familiarity with industrial applications and maintenance practices.

  • Tools: Proficiency in CRM platforms and MS Office Suite.

  • Behavioral Traits: Customer-centric mindset, adaptability, resilience, and willingness to travel extensively.
