We are seeking this role to provide technical assistance to field teams and support on the lifecycle of elevator, escalator, and building door products. This role combines hands-on technical knowledge with digital tools and data management to drive efficiency, ensure material data quality, and deliver high-quality spare technical solutions across global operations.
4.What will you be doing?- Provide technical support for spares to service technicians and frontline teams.
- Identify and recommend material replacements while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Support frontline teams with accurate material identification aligned to products and services.
- Manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for new materials and existing product offerings.
- Handle quality feedback and non-conformities by proposing practical and effective solutions.
- Manage engineering change requests and coordinate closely with R&D teams for implementation.
- Deliver technical support for spares related to tools, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and workwear.
- Ensure product compliance, including governance, documentation, and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain product compliance and liability throughout the product lifecycle, while supporting pricing strategies through cost analysis, benchmarking, and supplier negotiations.
5.Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP, PDM/PLM systems, and BOM interpretation
- Familiarity with Elevator, Escalator and Building Door products
- Proficiency in O365, SharePoint, and engineering drawing tools
- Effective communication in English and ability to work independently
- Understanding of supply chain, materials and master data.
- Hands-on design experience with Creo, AutoCAD, ProgeCAD
- Field experience in installation and commissioning
- Experience with VariPDM, Adobe tools, and technical documentation
- MS Excel Macros and SQL knowledge are added advantages.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Technically detail-oriented, and solution-focused
- Capable of working in a cross-functional, global team environment
- Self-driven, adaptable, and proactive in solving technical challenges
