Technical Program Manager

Scope:

• Core responsibilities include analyzing business requirements and supporting successful adoption and optimization of development and security tooling.
• Work in a native SaaS environment (MS Azure) using Java, Springboot, Gradle, Hibernate, NPM, Rest API, OAuth
• Applications have a range of technologies including .Net, C++, C, Jenkins/Groovy

Our current technical environment:

• Development tooling: GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GitHub Advanced Security, Artifactory (both on premise and Cloud), BlackDuck Hub, WhiteHat (now BlackDuck Continuous scan), 42Crunch API security, Checkov IAC scanning, Codacy, JIRA
• Deployment model: Primarily Cloud hosted applications (plans to move remaining tooling to Cloud-based deployment)

What you’ll do:

• Based on business imperatives from Blue Yonder leadership, Security, and the needs identified by the development teams, drive requirements for tools enablement and operational excellence
• Work with the Tools team to configure and roll out updates to tools used in the software development process
• Keep up to date on new features and capabilities for tooling, especially GitHub, GitHub Advanced Security, and Artifactory.
• Assist the larger development organization to adopt new tools and capabilities within the software development cycle
• Demonstrates good understanding of current trends in developer experience and development tooling to promote best practices and ease burdens.

What we are looking for:

• BE/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech or MCA with 15 to 18 years of experience in Software Development of large and complex enterprise applications.
• Expert on GitHub, Artifactory, and SDLC security tooling capabilities
• Provides direction to the tools team on automation and governance required in GitHub, Artifactory, and other tools used in the SDLC
• Works with the Security team and product teams to define requirements for both new and existing tools
• Prioritizes requests for changes/enhancements/new feature adoption with the tools team
• Write stories for the tools developers to support tool rollout, including automated shared reusable workflows in GitHub actions and automation to integrate tools
• Validates correct implementation of requirements and related automation to support tools adoption
• Ensure security alignment with GitHub, Artifactory, and other tools, especially as it relates to Security workflows and authentication/authorization
• Provides documentation and directions to teams on proper usage of Development tools and the CI/CD processes
• Ensures cost management of measured services, including GitHub Actions, CoPilot, and Artifactory
