Tax Transformation Manager
Location: [Hyderabad India] | Department: Tax Transformation | Job Type: Full-time, Regular
1. Position Summary
Crowe is seeking an experienced, tech-savvy leader to guide our Tax Transformation team as a Tax Transformation Manager. You will direct a group of talented associates while shaping automation and reporting solutions that elevate Crowe’s Tax operations. This role blends hands-on technical oversight with strategic partnership and people leadership to deliver impactful, scalable results.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of associates, providing clear goals, feedback, and performance reviews
- Own project planning, resource allocation, and on-time delivery across global time zones
- Review and refine solution architecture to ensure quality, scalability, and security standards
- Partner with senior Tax stakeholders to prioritize the transformation roadmap and measure impact
- Identify automation opportunities, champion continuous improvement, and drive user adoption
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with IT, Data Analytics, and Finance to streamline delivery
- Guide development in Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Excel
- Provide hands-on code and solution reviews in Python, Angular, React, or similar technologies
- Oversee documentation, testing, and change-management processes for every release
- Track project metrics, communicate progress, and resolve risks promptly
3. Qualifications – Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Data Analytics, MIS, or a related field
- Five or more years in tax technology, data analytics, or automation roles
- Demonstrated success leading small technical teams and mentoring talent
- Advanced expertise with Power Apps, Power Query, Excel, and Alteryx (Advanced Certification preferred)
- Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including executive-level presentations
4. Qualifications – Preferred
- Experience supporting tax compliance or transformation programs
- Familiarity with APIs, DevOps practices, and version control tools
- Proficiency in coding language plus a modern front-end framework such as Angular or React
- Exposure to Power BI data modeling and DAX for advanced reporting
