Talent Acquisition Specialist needed in an Education Group in Hyderabad - ( Job ID - 22159)
The Talent Acquisition Specialist
plays a pivotal role in strengthening our Employee Value Proposition (EVP),
attracting top academic and non-academic talent to our schools, building strong
talent pipelines, and enhancing employee engagement and retention. This role
focuses on partnering with our schools to ensure they are staffed with highly
capable, motivated individuals who embody our mission and values, while also
implementing strategies to maximize talent potential and support performance
excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Attraction & EVP
- Design and promote a compelling Employee Value Proposition
(EVP) that reflects our mission, values, and commitment to education
excellence.
- Develop and implement creative talent attraction strategies
tailored to academic (teaching, leadership) and non-academic roles.
2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
Excellence
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for key academic and non-academic
positions, ensuring high-quality hires within agreed timelines.
- Build and maintain talent pools and candidate pipelines for
critical and hard-to-fill roles.
3. Talent Development & Capability
Building
- Identify learning and development needs across schools and
coordinate training initiatives that enhance skills, leadership
capability, and classroom excellence.
- Collaborate with academic and operations leadership to design
career development frameworks and succession planning strategies.
4. Retention & Engagement
- Analyse employee engagement, turnover, and exit feedback to
identify improvement areas.
- Co-develop and execute retention strategies to improve employee
satisfaction and reduce attrition across schools.
- Partner with Principals to create recognition, wellness, and
career growth initiatives.
5. Performance & Talent Maximization
- Support implementation of performance management frameworks
that drive accountability, growth, and high performance.
- Facilitate talent reviews and assist leaders in identifying
high-potential employees for development opportunities.
Key Competencies
- Strong understanding of end-to-end talent lifecycle –
attraction, recruitment, development, and retention.
- Deep passion for education and talent development within
academic environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder
management skills.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to interpret HR metrics
and derive insights.
- Creativity in designing and executing talent attraction
campaigns.
- Knowledge of learning and development principles and
performance management systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or
related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition,
learning & development, or HR business partnering.
- Experience working within the education sector (schools,
edtech, or related fields) is a strong advantage.
- Proven record of developing and implementing
talent strategies that improve hiring quality, engagement, and retention.
