Position Overview:

The India Talent Acquisition Lead drives the rapid scaling of the workforce by aligning Global Talent Acquisition strategies with local execution. This role ensures the effective adoption of the Global Talent Acquisition framework, tools, and materials while tailoring operational strategies to meet the unique demands of the Indian market. Through strategic partnerships, best practices, and market insights, the role directly contributes to achieving growth objectives while maintaining compliance and strengthening the employer brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all Talent Acquisition activities, partnering with local, regional, and global business leaders, People & Culture, the People Services team, and the RPO provider.

  • Adopt Global Talent Acquisition strategies, frameworks, and tools, and tailor them to local TA strategies, incorporating market insights, hiring trends, and workforce planning.

  • Ensure effective management and execution of TA delivery to support rapid growth, focusing on high-quality and timely hiring for critical and executive roles.

  • Provide strategic leadership to the RPO team, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement in recruitment delivery.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align strategies and monitor performance.

Operational Excellence:

  • Simplify and optimize recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and improve the candidate and hiring manager experience.

  • Champion the adoption of new TA tools and processes, identifying opportunities for operational excellence.

  • Ensure compliance with global TA policies and local labor laws, maintaining strong governance frameworks.

  • Regularly review recruitment dashboards to track KPIs, identify trends, and present actionable insights.

Talent Pipeline Development:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and People & Culture to design and execute campus recruitment strategies and early talent programs.

  • Build strategic partnerships with key educational institutions and professional organizations to build a robust talent pipeline.

  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies for critical roles and niche skill sets.

Employer Branding & Market Presence:

  • Localize and implement the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) in recruitment campaigns.

  • Drive employer branding initiatives to position the organization as an employer of choice in the Indian market.

  • Represent the organization at key recruitment events, forums, and industry networking opportunities to strengthen market presence.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience.

  • Proven experience in the Indian talent market, with a strong understanding of local labor laws and recruitment practices.

  • Track record of successfully scaling teams in high-growth environments.

  • Experience working with RPO providers and managing vendor relationships.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.

  • Data-driven approach to decision-making with strong analytical skills.

  • Experience in global organizations with matrix structures.

  • Knowledge of modern recruitment technologies and ATS systems (Workday).

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.

  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to drive change and innovation in recruitment practices.

  • Direct influence on the organization's growth and talent strategy in India.

  • Leadership of end-to-end recruitment processes.
