State Income Tax Accountant

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of federal, state and local income tax returns
• Prepare and analyze apportionment rates and supporting data
• Assist with calculations of estimated tax payments
• Assist with tax audits and various controversial matters
• Assist with calculations for quarterly and year-end tax provision
• Partner with outside tax consultants on various projects
• Collaborate with accounting, legal, and other tax department personnel to accomplish assigned objectives

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Zero to three years of corporate income tax experience

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with Excel is required
• Working knowledge of CORPTax tax software is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fluid environment, handle multiple projects and reset priorities

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $75,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
