We're looking for an experienced Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our ZPA Control Plane team. Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering you'll be responsible for:
- Understanding how to build and operate high scale systems
- Providing product wide architectural guidance, and making impactful changes
- Mentoring junior engineers, fostering their growth and success, and actively participating in code reviews to uphold best practices
- 4+ years of experience in Java coding in a highly distributed and enterprise-scale environment
- Experience being on call and dealing with cloud incidents and writing RCAs
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services on AWS/Azure
- Bachelor Degree/or Masters Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience building reliable and extensible data tiers for large scale web services (Postgres and Redis)
- Experience building full CI/CD systems leveraging Kubernetes & web service frameworks
- Experience with identity and access management systems like Okta, SAML protocols, and security services Knowledge of OAuth
