Join Micron Technology Inc. as a Staff Scrum Master in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, where you will have the outstanding opportunity to lead world-class Agile projects. You will be the driving force behind the team, advocating for the values and practices of Scrum, DevOps, and other Agile methodologies. Collaborate with both technical and product teams to successfully implement capabilities that support our business objectives.
In this role, success comes from your ability to engage with team members, provide business value, and clear obstacles to meet sprint deadlines. You will mentor the team to reach delivery and improvement goals. Working alongside Scrum Masters or their equivalents, Project Managers, and leaders, you will help build a detailed backlog understanding and encourage effective collaboration among teams within the Value Stream.
Responsibilities :
Understand key business objectives and strategy, communicate them clearly in partnership with the Product Owner
Bridge the gap between conceptualizing and actioning project ideas
Build and onboard project teams, integrating them into OCT ADS with a clear product vision
Monitor project progress, providing timely feedback to collaborators
Facilitate Scrum collaborations, including story mapping, sprint/release planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demo sessions
Help the team achieve sprint goals by resolving potential obstacles
Partner with Product Owners to support agile projects, develop and prioritize the backlog
Plan schedules for project deliverables and roadmap
Develop and monitor agile critical metrics for the team
Evaluate team performance in agile, providing insights into team velocity and sprint/release activities
Motivate and encourage team members to improve their potential
Serve as an Agile process ambassador, encouraging and mentoring the team in Agile practices
Support Agile maturity and innovation approaches across teams to improve methodologies' efficiency
Be knowledgeable in agile methodologies such as XP, Lean, and Kanban, understanding their strengths and weaknesses
Support the deployment process by assisting with testing and business analysis
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
Valid Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM)
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role
Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban
Excellent leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Project management certifications (PMP, CITPM, or Prince2) are an advantage
This role requires working during the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
