• Key Responsibilities:
• Execute a comprehensive strategy across process/structure/stress/unit process/ab-initio/data-driven modeling teams towards advanced technology developments in NAND/DRAM/HBM portfolios. Work with fab counterparts in process and integration groups, to effectively identify and facilitate the deployment of advanced modeling solutions towards the top process/yield/reliability issues. Enable and ensure real-time communication of modeling results relevant to engineering groups and collaborate with engineering teams to make impactful model-based decisions on Silicon. Provide regular updates to senior TD and MFG leadership. Develop strong working relationship with functional leaders in Boise and steer the group towards executing an aligned strategy. Drive a cohesive communication channel across the group. Foster strong partnerships with other departments such as Process engineering, Integration, Product Development, SMAI, Data science and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless integration of modeling efforts. Establish clear performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the team’s success and impact, ensuring accountability and transparency Develop internal leadership capabilities and technical expertise to enable a world class technical team. Actively build a team culture conducive to attracting and retaining the best technology employees in the world. Guide managers and Technical Leadership Program (TLP) members, supporting their development and success. Promote a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging the exploration of new modeling techniques and methodologies. Foster an organization that embraces and leverages on Diversity, Equality & Inclusion and recognizes its contribution to a stronger team, embedding best practices in operations and hiring decisions Understand safety guidelines and ensure safety protocol is followed for all areas and meeting the priorities in accordance with site goals.
• Qualifications:
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. More than 10 years' experience in Micron Technology Development team's process/integration/device engineering groups. Driven 2 or more nodes as a technical leader in Technology Development across various Technode milestones. Possess a deep understanding of various Technode milestones and their requirements end-to-end for a product's success. Strong know-hows of advanced modeling techniques such as process, structure, stress, ab-initio, unit process, and data-driven modeling, and its application in semiconductor industry. Good track record of strategic execution excellence in one or more TD functions. Proven track record in leading and managing high-performing teams. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to drive customer-focused results. Experience with managing new college graduates and experienced candidates.

• Directs and guides the activities of a research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Evaluates final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives. Prepares and presents reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and makes recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
