JR62886 Sr Software Engineer

• You will be part of SAP ABAP Team and working primarily in Production planning Team.
• Current role will be a senior Developer who is an Individual Contributor in a global solutions team.
• You will be reviewing the Technical Specification, Coding and Unit Testing the developments.
• Unit Testing should also include regression testing.
• Expected to have understanding of SAP Production Planning process and Order to Cash flow.
• In case of New Implementation projects, you should also take care of Hyper care support.
• Analyze and troubleshoot systems issues.
• Ensure that the potential impact of software development changes is well understood, using data to support understanding of upstream and downstream dependencies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for end-to-end testing and performance analysis of real-time data applications, solve issues, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership by absorbing and retaining information across a range of technical areas.
• Providing technical support and solutions
• Ensuring data integrity and system performance.

Skill set:

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP/oData/Fiori. 
• Excellent ABAP Programming skills in RICEF with good knowledge of ABAP Object Oriented programming is mandatory.
• Extensive knowledge and experience on ODATA Services, CDS and other ABAP on HANA concepts is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of Gateway, and SICF services with OData / any other formats.
• Good to know undergone training or experience in Fiori.
• Expertise in RAP (Restful application Programming) or BOPF is good to have.
• Experience with SAP UI5 (JavaScript) or SAP Fiori design and development.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Should have experience in Global template development and rollouts.
• Design and Development based on business requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s/ Masters degree in Engineering/Computer science, Information System, or related degree.
