Sr Software Engineer - Performance Testing- Product Development

Scope:

 Analyze solution architecture and make recommendations to optimize performance.
 Analyzes and optimizes components to take advantage of project specific databases and
system configurations.
 Assist other team members with benchmarking and sizing exercises.
 Maintain direct communication between the project manager, project team and other
JDA associates as required.
 Provide technical expertise during the project, including performance tuning, DB design,
installation, stress/load testing and interface development work.
 Provide technical expertise on development projects as necessary.
 Understand technical needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Our current technical environment:

 Software: Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth
 Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant
Microservices architecture.
 Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway,
Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
 Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS,
Springboot, Gradle GIT, Ignite.

What you’ll do:

• Write JMeter tests for the identified testcases.
 Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests. Monitor
application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the
resolution and necessarily follow up with Development and other cross-functional
departments.
• Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB
Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
• Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required
for validation and analysis.
• Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detail status reports and
monitoring of all defects and issues.
• Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application

What we are looking for:

 5 - 8 Expertise in Performance Testing tools using Jmeter
 Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases
Design,
 Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration
Management
 Strong knowledge on SQLSERVER and ORACLE DB
 Experience in Git, JIRA, Jenkins, TM4J or any test management tool
 Experience in Integration with Blaze meter
 Experience in Monitoring on Azure cloud
 Experience in Working knowledge of Linux.
