What you get to do in this role:
• Be a ServiceNow Developer for ServiceNow!• Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, documentation etc.)• Work with the product owners and technical product managers to understand detailed requirements• Independently design, code, and debug complex applications that are integrated with multiple systems e.g. Snowflake, CRM Dynamics , CPQ etc• Implement software that is simple and scalable to use.• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing• Explore the latest ServiceNow features and evaluate them for adoption.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
• 6+ years of professional full stack software development experience• Strong back-end experience with NodeJS or Java or a similar OO language• Strong front-end experience developing responsive user interfaces using modern Javascript frameworks such as AngularJS ,ReactJS, VueJS• Strong knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, BootStrap, CSS, REST, GraphQL and associated frameworks• Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations• Experience with Restful APIs• ServiceNow service portal development, scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.• Good communication and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team.• Self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond training.• Strong analytical and design skills• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
