Role Responsibility
- 12+ years of experience in SAP ABAP/4 Programming with SAP development tools.
- Maintain and develop existing SAP development solutions ensuring compliance with internal and external development standards.
- Working as part of a dedicated SAP development team collaborating with functional consultants, Project Managers, and key business SME’s.
- Deliver successful SAP Development project work, change requests and critical BAU support.
- Contribute to SAP environment patches and periodic SAP refreshes across all functional areas.
- Support best practices through ABAP solutions within business processes in SAP and through interfaces with systems external to SAP.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and work on projects simultaneously.
- Experience with delivery models and Agile best practices.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Dialog Programming, Smart Forms/ Adobe Forms, SAP Script, User Exits, ABAP/4 Dictionary, custom enhancements, and modifications Business ADD INS.
- Experience with report development, performance tuning, modification, and support of SAP customized and standard programming.
- Experience in SQL Trace, SAP Run time analysis, Debugging, and ABAP Query.
- Experience on interfaces development using File, RFC, IDOC, BAPI, Web services, Proxy based interfaces .
- Should have worked on developments from SAP modules like FICO,SD,MM,PS.
- Excellent understanding and ability to articulate object-oriented design patterns in ABAP.
- Desired to have knowledge developments on SAP HANA / S/4HANA platforms.
- Person should have experience or knowledge of Middleware like SAP PI/PO (SAP XI)/Mulesoft/ETL.
- Develop programs based on technical spec documents provided by functional leads supporting a project.
- Understands WRICEF development (Workflow, Reporting, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms).
- Experience working with SAP Fiori APPS and CDS Views .
- Extensive experience in Cross Application communications using ALE/IDOCS. Involved in ALE Configuration, IDOC Extension/Reduction/Filtering, Change pointers and Message Control.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
