Role Summary:
Picarro is seeking an exceptional Sr. QA Engineer for functional testing of Picarro Analyzers. This role expects you to analyze requirements, create and execute test-plan, and record results in test-repo. This person is also expected to contribute to automation.
You will:
- Work with product owners and development team to understand requirement and create test-cases.
- Work with managers to do risk assessment and create test-plans in test-tracking system.
- Execute test cases, and file defect reports as needed. Work with developmen tteam to ensure timely turnarounds.
- Create automation plan for past features.
- Automate test cases and maintain test suites.
Must-have Qualifications:
- 5-9 years of experience in functional and manual testing, with hands-on expertise in writing test cases, and executing tests.
- Experience in Linus/Windows and Embedded device testing.
- Experience in one or more programming lanuages.
- Familiarity with automation tools (like Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, etc.) and working knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Proficiency in using testing tools like JIRA test management and bug reporting.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman and SoapUI.
- Understanding of database queries (SQL) for validating back-end data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area.
Salary & Benefits:
Your base salary range and title will be determined based on the location, experience, qualification, skills, knowledge, level, and pay of employees in similar positions.
