Backend Developer with 7+ yrs of exp (Java with Oracle Database)

Responsibilities:

•         Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot ).

•         Build and maintain RESTful APIs consumed by frontend and mobile apps.

•         Implement security best practices, including authentication and data protection.

•         Develop and optimize database interactions with Oracle Database.

•         Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform performance tuning on Oracle.

•         Manage connection pooling and transactions for Oracle Database.

•         Use ORM frameworks like Hibernate or Spring Data JPA for Oracle integration.

•         Write automated unit and integration tests to maintain backend code quality.

•         Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

•         Participate in Agile workflows, including sprint planning and reviews.

Required Skills:

•         Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.

•         Hands-on experience with Oracle Database—SQL query optimization, schema design, indexing, and PL/SQL.

•         Experience using JDBC or Spring Data JPA for Oracle connectivity.

•         Familiarity with Oracle-specific features such as partitioning, sequences, and advanced indexing.

•         Experience implementing authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT).

•         Proficiency with build tools Gradle, Groovy.

•         Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud services AWS, is a plus.

•         Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
