The role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions to enhance customer and partner engagement. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions while ensuring the best practices in Salesforce development and customization.
Salesforce Experience Cloud professional would be expected to design, build, and maintain solutions on the Salesforce platform, focusing on creating engaging customer, partner, and employee experiences through custom applications and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Experience Cloud Sites: These professionals are responsible for creating and customizing Experience Cloud sites, which are used to build communities and portals for various audiences.
- Build Custom Applications: They develop custom applications and features within the Experience Cloud platform to meet specific business needs.
- Configure CRM Workflows: They configure CRM workflows and processes to ensure seamless integration with Experience Cloud sites.
- Integrate with External Systems: They integrate Experience Cloud with other systems and applications to facilitate data exchange and workflow automation.
- Troubleshoot and Optimize: They troubleshoot technical issues, optimize performance, and provide user support to ensure smooth user experience.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: They work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure Security and Scalability: They implement security measures and ensure that the Experience Cloud solutions are scalable and can manage the demands of the organization.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Salesforce Platform Expertise: A strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including its various modules and features, is essential.
- Experience Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with Experience Cloud features, capabilities, and best practices is crucial.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript is often required.
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Knowledge of these web technologies is helpful for building and customizing Experience Cloud sites.
- SQL: Experience with SQL is beneficial for working with Salesforce data.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions is important.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills are necessary for working with stakeholders and other team members.
- Salesforce Certifications: Relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I, App Builder, and Salesforce Administrator, can enhance credibility and demonstrate expertise.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in Salesforce Einstein Analytics, Marketing Cloud, or Commerce Cloud.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) for UI development.
- Experience working with multi-cloud Salesforce solutions.
Scope of Work:
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions tailored to business needs.
- Customize and configure Experience Cloud pages, themes, and templates.
- Integrate Experience Cloud with other Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing) and third-party applications.
- Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex controllers, and custom applications.
- Ensure a seamless user experience through responsive UI design and branding customization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on Salesforce best practices, security, and governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Experience Cloud issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud).
- Strong expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Experience in Salesforce administration, customization, and security configuration.
- Knowledge of Experience Builder, CMS, Themes, and Branding in Experience Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs) and third-party applications.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Model, Sharing, and Security settings.
- Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, CI/CD tools, and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, Copado).
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Administrator, or Salesforce Platform Developer I/II (preferred).
