Seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and GitOps for Kubernetes deployments and monitoring.
Job Description:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team and help build, automate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate has deep experience with AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD, FluxCD, Karpenter, F5 Nginx Ingress Controller, and Datadog, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, GitOps, and observability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and FluxCD for Kubernetes application deployments.
- Optimize Kubernetes clusters with Karpenter for efficient autoscaling.
- Configure and manage F5 Nginx Ingress Controller to handle load balancing and traffic routing.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and observability with Datadog to ensure performance, security, and reliability.
- Automate cloud resource provisioning, scaling, and cost optimization strategies.
- Work with developers to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Implement security best practices for infrastructure, Kubernetes, and cloud workloads.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, and application performance issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Cloud Engineer.
- Strong expertise in AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, etc.).
- Experience writing and managing Terraform modules for cloud automation.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, including scaling, networking, and security.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and FluxCD.
- Proficiency in Karpenter for Kubernetes autoscaling.
- Experience configuring and optimizing F5 Nginx Ingress Controller.
- Strong understanding of Datadog for monitoring, alerting, and performance tracking.
- Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or Go).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud-native environments.
Nice to Have:
- AWS certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.).
- Experience with Helm and Kubernetes Operators.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
