Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily SAP BASIS administration tasks including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system health checks for SAP systems on HANA DB.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP S/4HANA E4H landscapes.
- Manage HANA database administration tasks such as backup/recovery, replication setup, performance optimization, and housekeeping.
- Support SAP BTP integrations, connectivity, and extensions in coordination with development and architecture teams.
- Perform system copies, refreshes, and client administration as per project and operational needs.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for SAP HANA databases and application components.
- Coordinate with SAP support for OSS incidents and implement recommended solutions.
- Apply support packages, SAP notes, kernel upgrades, and security patches as required.
- Support SAP E4H application teams with technical issues, transports, and change requests.
- Document technical configurations, operational procedures, and changes effectively.
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, security, and cloud teams for integrated support.
- Participate in on-call support rotations for critical issues resolution.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration for SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Expertise in SAP HANA database administration including performance tuning, backups, and system replication.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Connector, and BTP services integration with SAP systems.
- Provide specialized BASIS and HANA support for SAP applications running on "Edition for HANA" (E4H), particularly in areas like SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) E4H
- Collaborate with functional and application teams to address E4H-specific technical issues and optimize performance.
- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS) hosting SAP workloads.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring appropriate controls and monitoring are in place.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
