The SQL Developer will optimize database queries in Azure SQL, ensure data integrity, implement security best practices, and collaborate on SQL solutions for .NET and Power BI.
We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing database queries, ensuring data consistency, and improving performance and security within Azure SQL environments. You will collaborate with development teams to provide SQL solutions for .NET applications and Power BI reporting.
More specifically, the SQL Developer must:
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance in Azure SQL environments.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.
- Implement and maintain database security best practices.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries for .NET applications and Power BI dashboards.
- Collaborate with developers and BI teams to support data-driven solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in SQL development and database optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL and query optimization.
- Experience with Azure SQL performance tuning and security.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI integration and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with .NET development.
- Advanced Power BI capabilities (DAX, custom visuals).
