This position is in the NDO team under DM North America-GSD unit within the Solution Area Cognitive Network Solutions in Ericsson. The Global Service Delivery Centers (GSD) located across a few countries. You will be working mainly with the latest technology (i.e., 5G, ML/AI, Cloud-RAN) and will be involved in projects with many diverse customers around the world. In this role, you will be an expert and a go-to person in the field of Network Optimization.
What you will do
Deliver services and provide support in Network Design and Optimization (NDO)
Develop and improve offerings for services and products
Consult with technical staff and senior management in customer organizations, to understand their requirements.
Develop complex end-to-end solutions to meet operators' technical and business requirements!
Implement customer solutions within agreed time, scope and cost, handle expectations, and obtain acceptance
Share knowledge within Ericsson and with customers
You will bring
The successful applicant must have deep technical skills, expertise, and experience in radio network optimization, including a track record of technical consulting and leading people.
Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering, or IT
Minimum 10+ Yrs of experience in radio access network design and optimization
Deep knowledge of Swap/Cluster Acceptance Procedure.
Deep knowledge of Ericsson OSS KPIs & Counters for LTE & VoLTE.
Hands-On with LTE and NR NSA KPI Optimization comprising of accessibility, retainability for Ericsson Systems.
LTE, VoLTE, Carrier Aggregation, UL/DL Comp, ESS, ENDC, NR NSA, VoNR.
5G technology knowledge and NDO expertise in 5G will be highly regarded.
Advanced analytical & troubleshooting skills.
Tools like TEMS Investigation/NEMO/XCAL/QXDM/Romes and post processing tools like TEMS Discovery/NEMO analyser/XCAP/QCAT
Cloud-RAN, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML & AI) knowledge is an advantage.
Well versed with data visualization techniques and tools like Power BI.
Ericsson system knowledge (Ericsson Radio System, Ericsson Network Manager, Ericsson MO structure)
PM Events and Statistics (PM Counters, Cell Traces, Baseband Traces)
PM Platforms (ENIQ/ITK/Ericsson Performance Platform) , CM (MOM Parameters, System Constants)
The role demands strong analytical capabilities, operational excellence, and the ability to manage network performance in alignment with stringent customer SLAs and evolving autonomous network strategies.
Should be willing to deliver in Night Shift/Odd Shift, extended hours and over weekends.
