JR63081 Software Engineer - ServiceNow

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident Management: Develop and maintain workflows for incident management, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues.
• Problem Management: Implement and manage problem management processes to identify and mitigate recurring issues.
• Change Management: Design and enforce change management protocols to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
• Configuration Management: Maintain and update the configuration management database (CMDB) to ensure accurate asset tracking.
• Request Management: Develop and manage service request workflows to streamline user requests.
• Knowledge Management: Create and maintain knowledge articles to support IT service delivery.
• ServiceNow Applications: Work with various ServiceNow applications, including NowMobile, Agent Mobile, and AI Search

Core Capabilities:

• Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting languages.
• Proven ability to set up ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, sophisticated UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, and UI Scripts to meet needs.
• Expertise with REST/SOAP APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems
• Workflow Design and Build: Design, develop, and optimize workflows to improve IT service delivery with a focus on continual improvement and automation.
• Catalog Item Development: Create and manage service catalog items to meet user needs.
• ServiceNow Reporting and Performance Analytics: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor IT service performance.
• Enhancement Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
• Core Platform Development: Perform core platform development tasks, including scripting, integrations, and automation.
• Experience with Flow designer, Workspaces and UI Designer desirable.
• Participate in the upgrade cycle of ServiceNow, including testing via the use of the Automated Test Framework.
• Code reviews and quality control checks should be undertaken as part of every project to guarantee maximum efficiency and productivity.

Minimum of 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow ITSM
