About the Role:
We are looking for a Software Engineer to help in developing high quality, secured and high performance applications. As a Backend developer, you will have a major role to play in the software product development by analysing the requirement, deciding approach and develop the application. As part of this role, you will be doing development, write unit test cases and deliver quality applications.
A Day in The Life of Our Software Architect:
Develop high-quality applications.
Participate in sprint planning, task estimation and user story creation.
Design and implement testable and scalable code.
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Utilise GitLab/ GitHub repository for source control.
Accurate estimation and timely completion of tasks.
Contribute to process improvements to drive efficiency and efficacy.
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent from good, reputed university.
2-4 years of experience (real world, not academic).
Experienced with back-end programming languages (NodeJS), Python is added advantage.
Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
Strong foundation of relational (Ex: PostgreSQL) database systems with complex SQL queries.
Experience using Source Control such as Git.
Knowledge on any web server/app server configuration and deployment on AWS platform.
Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques and object-oriented programming.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
