Job Description
The Software Development Senior Engineer (SE) will be responsible for managing, supporting and customization of our Oracle Agile PLM platform. The SE will be the key resource to assess, plan, coordinate and execute changes to the system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with users to develop, test and release product changes.
- Responsible for customizations in Agile PLM and its associated interfaces
- Operational responsibility for PLM platform
- Manages and maintains interfaces to the PLM platform.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining system and process documentation.
Required:
- Experience Oracle Agile PLM 9.3.X solution specifically in Product Collaboration (PC) and Product Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Solid Knowledge of Agile PLM configuration, Criteria, Roles, User Groups, Privileges and Administration
- Strong knowledge in Java to create custom solutions.
- Understanding of Customizations (Agile PLM SDK, PX development, Web Services, ACS, ACP, Events, REST API).
- High level knowledge of SFDC integration capabilities
- Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, identifying and resolving issues.
- Experience with Database upgrade, patch installations and server maintenance.
- Monitoring application performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Understanding of release and change processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience, or 6 years of experience with Master’s Degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with data transformation.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- ITIL certification on Release and Change Management
