Nexaminds is actively seeking a Site Reliability Engineer.

Position Responsibilities

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of reliability practices for a leading online retail enterprise. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in identifying project risks and contribute to possible solutions.
  • Maintain and update documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to help address performance and resiliency issues.
  • Support cloud infrastructure setup and optimization to ensure reliability and resilience.
  • Participate in developing and testing recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
  • Follow and apply best practices for cloud security and compliance in daily work.
  • Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and escalate where needed.
  • Contribute to the adoption of SRE frameworks, practices, and automation initiatives.
  • Stay engaged with evolving cloud technologies and reliability tools.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles.
  • 2.5 - 4 years of experience as a Cloud/DevOps/SRE engineer or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS preferred).
  • Exposure to public and hybrid network architectures, VPC, and security group concepts.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline).
  • Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation a plus).
  • Basic experience with application monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk).
  • Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes basics) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, or storage concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Experience

  • 3 - 4 years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or cloud operations.
  • Hands-on exposure to AWS or another public cloud environment.
  • Experience working in production or mission-critical systems is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
