About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
-
4+ years of experience on software engineering including full life cycle development SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and understanding of application development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Bachelors/Masters Tech Degree or equivalent advanced degree.
Experience in Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence, etc

Experience in setting up infrastructure for Kafka, Mongo, JVMs, K8S/OpenShift.

Experience in modern application development practices such as CI/CD and DevOps.
-
Hands on experience using Service Now, working with Change Management process.
Ability to work to deadlines both independently and within a team environment.

Experience working in a large enterprise environment
Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change

Well-versed with tools like AppDynamics, Splunk and CI/CD tools.
Demonstrate ability to interact effectively with a variety of contacts including mid-level managers
Job Expectations:
-
Responsible for coordinating and setting up the infrastructure for various tech platforms like JVMs, Kafka and MongoDB.

3+ years of DevOps tool set based continuous incremental delivery experience, setting up CICD pipelines using Jenkins, UCD, Harness, Vault, etc

Good to have experience on OpenShift Container Platform.
Resolve moderately complex issues and collaborate within/across teams to meet business needs.

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve infrastructure challenges and achieve goals

Take proactive approach to anticipate issues and provide solutions
