About Team:
Building the right technology foundation for Infrastructure & platforms is vital to success at the scale of Walmart. Our Internet of Things (IOT) team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the tech organization. Included in this are data platforms, enterprise architecture, DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure, ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores, digital channels, and distribution centers.
What you'll do:

Design, Develop(Coding, unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting & Support) and maintain Java Spring boot 1.5 applications, C#

Lead the Operations & Support activities. Monitor the Service now tickets and respond. Identify technical tickets and assign it to development team for break fix.

Analyze and troubleshoot production issues and provide immediate fixes.

Work with client team to get the clarity on the backlog. Prioritize the backlog and track to a closure.

Develop design specifications, installation instructions, implementation & security guidelines and other system-related information.

Deploy Java and .Net core apps in Azure cloud and implement the CI/CD Azure DevOps deployment.

Implement solutions focusing on reuse and industry standards at a program level.

Ensure compliance with established architecture, design patterns, policies, standards and best practices.

Identifying production and non-production application issues and help address them
-
Will be Designing and Developing high scalable Cloud microservices for Walmart IoT Platform area

Will be guiding a team of junior developers in the developing solutions and providing technical expertise

Will be collaborating across cross platform team to achieve highly scalable integrations
What you'll bring:
-
5+ years of experience in Software Engineer field
-
Strong Knowledge of Cyber/Product Security having strong software engineering skills
-
Strong knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and practices, OWASP (open web application security project)
-
Thorough understanding of Private Key Infrastructure and its associated components and services
-
Understanding of security by design principles and architecture level security concepts
-
Work closely with the team to understand connected devices/Internet of Things in depth and to document the product details including the security architecture, trust boundaries and data flows.
-
Provide product security related coaching/mentoring and security expertise for all software and firmware development teams
-
Work with the product/engineering teams to define & verify security best practices to be followed on constrained devices
-
Help to develop, maintain and implement security policy, standards and procedures for IoT devices across the organization
-
Provide technical design and architectural leadership, including documenting and diagramming the logical, physical, and process views
-
Identify security exceptions and design practical, mitigating controls
-
Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) Edge Hardware platforms (Edge/Fog computing, design for cloud connectivity)
-
Knowledge of physical and logical security methods implemented in Hardware (secure storage, anti-tamper, Hardware accelerated cryptography )

Experience with the full lifecycle of IoT including, device provisioning, commissioning, and remote device management layers

At least 2 years of experience with IoT, IIoT, or OT development or management

Hands on experience with Programming Languages: Java, Python, Go

System engineering and automation experience on Linux OS and familiarity in Real Time Operating Systems

Knowledge in Software Development Lifecycle

Hands on programming experience in building Application Interfaces (REST) using one or more of the programming languages like Python, NodeJS, Java, C#

Experience in integration of software systems

Implementation experience in integrating with PKI, working experience in secure boot, identity management, over-the-air-updates, patch management and network provisioning
-
Working experience in cloud computing technologies and familiarity with IoT services like IoT Hub, IoT Core, time series telemetry analysis, etc. is an added plus

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
