Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools and technologies.
• Develop and maintain data quality checks and data validation processes.
• Build and optimize data models for data warehousing and analytics.
• Implement data integration solutions using various sources and technologies (e.g., databases, APIs, Kafka).
• Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Participate in the entire data lifecycle, from data ingestion to data consumption.
• Stay current on the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related data role.
• Strong experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, data loading, and query optimization.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and technologies (e.g., Airbyte).
• Experience with stream processing platforms like Kafka.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

Bonus Points:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with data governance and data security best practices.
