Senior Software Engineer in C#/.NET and AWS

ISS STOXX is actively hiring a Senior Software Engineer in C#/.NET and AWS to join our Liquid Metrix team in Mumbai office (Goregaon East).
Overview:

Responsibilities:

Play an active role in a global agile team developing complex applications to consume, process and transform large data sets.

Responsible for all phases of software development process – from requirements analysis, effort estimation, technical design, implementation, and testing - to defect management and support.

Study current systems and redesign them to add features & improve performance, stability and scale.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree (preferred) in computer science, information technology, or related fields
-
5+ years of programming experience with C#, .NET 4.8+, .NET core 6+
-
Proficiency with SQL Server - Schema design, query optimization, data imports, & partitioning

2+ years’ experience with big data (TB), using data driven, distributed, and parallel processing

Knowledge of AWS – Redshift and experience with S3, Kinesis Firehose, EC2, or Elastic Search

Knowledge of Algorithms & Heuristics to process large data sets.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience architecting complex systems with pragmatic use of design patterns and SOLID principles
-
Ability to work independently to proactively meet the goals of a distributed global team

Experience with version control using Git or Maven
-
Experience with Test/Behavior Driven Development.
Good to have:

Experience with WPF and LINQ
-
Performance profiling
-
CI/CD pipelines such as Azure Dev-Ops
-
An interest in BI Visualization tools such as Tableau, Sisense, & Power BI
-
Ability to quickly create prototypes
-
Ability to understand product requirements and plan project timelines/milestones

Familiarity with Python and a desire to learn further to be able enhance existing systems
-
Knowledge of financial markets & security trading
