Senior Software Engineer - Backend Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Micro Services, API's, Kafka, AI/ML, Payments Knowledge

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
The Move Money - Transfers and Payments team is looking for a highly skilled Java developer to be a part of an agile team tasked to solve challenging technical problems, geared towards providing new delightful banking features to our customers. Develop and launch scalable and secure Web services using JAVA, J2EE, JUNIT, Spring, and RESTful Services. Participate in the growth of a highly available, fast and resilient framework.
In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in job offered or as a Java Developer involving application development or programming.
• Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning concepts to accelerate innovation
• Experience in web application development and web programming development.
• Core Java experience.
• Experience working with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) - SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience working with Mongo DB.
• RESTful or SOAP web services.
• Micro services development experience.
• Hands on experience in coding resilient, highly available and scalable software solutions for online banking features using JAVA, Spring Stack, Kafka and Micro services architecture.
• Hands on experience is coding security aspects to prevent cyber-attacks and fraud prevention.
