Senior Software - Back end

We are looking for a ‘SSE’ to join our Technology team at Clarivate. He/she would be responsible for the development team deliverables. This would be an amazing opportunity to work in LS&H domain.

We are working on different server-side programming languages like Java, as well as back-end frameworks, databases, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), Git etc. 

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or master’s degree (BE, ME, B Tech, MTech, MCA, MS)
• At least 4 to 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Java microservices which uses spring boot framework (RESTful APIs).
• Good understanding on back-end frameworks, relational database management systems (RDBMS)
• Good working experience with GIT and CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.

It would be great if you also had:

• Working on front-end framework like Angular
• Experience in Azure cloud platform or AWS.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks.
• Design robust APIs.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers to resolve issues/blockers.

Demonstrate motivation, ownership and compassion within the Team. 

What product/application will you be developing?

Task Management as a Content Platform service manages task workflow and allows Clarivate Analytics content teams manage operational activities more effectively. This is extensively used by different business from multiple segments like LS&H, A&G and IP.

About the Team

The existing team is spread across India and includes developers and testers with strong technical and analytical skills. We have a great development skill set in Java, spring-boot micro-services as well as having experience with back-end frameworks, databases, SQL, RESTful APIs, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), Git, Angular.

You would be part of large dev team responsible for delivering and supporting world class products and innovative solutions in the LS&H domain.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent position with Clarivate. You will be working in IST time zone. 9 hours of work per day including 1-hour lunch break. We have hybrid work model, flexible and employee friendly work environment.
