As our Senior Salesforce Developer, you play a vital role at Modernizing Medicine. This position is central to continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform for our organization. Collaborate with other developers and architects to design the best solution to meet the requirements. Mentor junior developers and own the programmatic solutions on the platform. Work alongside our Salesforce Administrators to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions both programmatic and declarative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, test and implement elegant solutions on ModMed’s Salesforce Platform
- Write code to create custom solutions that are efficient, stable, maintainable and manageable
- Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator Team to validate business requirements, taking into and any considerations of the platform including, but not limited to: security, scalability, limits, and ongoing management of the solution
- Develop Apex (classes and triggers) and Visualforce to extend Salesforce to support business requirements
- Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components
- Partner with team members to build out integrations to the Salesforce Platform.
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development
- Partner with ModMed’s Release Management Team on release cycles to support the implementation and deployment of new/updates to existing applications and code
- Contribute to building out the Salesforce Team technical documentation
- Provide configuration and development support for ModMed’s Revenue Cloud and QTC Solution.
Skills & Requirements:
- 4+ years hands-on experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce in an Enterprise Organization
- Be willing to jump in and offer hands-on support with declarative projects/work
- Salesforce Sales Cloud and Revenue Cloud product knowledge and at least 3 years of Salesforce development experience
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team members
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II
- Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle, Passion for a fast-paced, high growth environment
- A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices
- Strong knowledge of git source code and SFDX command line interface a plus
- Experience with Salesforce sites and Lightning Communities a plus
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ / Revenue Cloud is Mandatory
- Additional Salesforce certifications, Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, JavaScript Developer is a plus
- Demonstrates continued personal/professional development
- Active in the Salesforce community a plus
- Salesforce Admin and PD1 certification is mandatory
