Job Description

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Primary Skills:

  • Analyze and comprehend requirements; create manual and automated tests; and maintain them.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing of aws-based applications using python/Selenium.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure efficient regression testing and maximum test coverage.
  • Work closely with developers and product owners to identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Continuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for automation, enhancing test coverage, and implementing best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth and development.
  • Create and review test artifacts, including test scripts, plans, scenarios, cases, data, and bug reports.
  • Analyze test failures, report defects, and execute regression test suites.
  • Collaborate with development, support, and other teams to help identify and test quality issues with the product.

Work Experience / Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor of Technology or MCA
  • 7-9 years of experience in Manual/automation testing.
  • Good knowledge of Python, Selenium, Test Automation Framework development.
  • Expertise in API testing automation with strong programming skills and conducting and solving complex integration test cases
  • Must have hands on implementation of Automation framework (preferable BDD Cucumber) along with different Automation framework architecture.
  • Should be able to work independently and help other team members. Excellent communication, problem solving &  analytical skills and debugging skills.
  • Strong organizational skills , Team oriented attitude and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • Hours include alternate shift work, evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hour a day on call support.
  • Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures
  • The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 30 pounds is also necessary
  • Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment
