Designs and executes comprehensive functional, regression, integration, API, and security tests for Salesforce CPQ. Validates product configuration, pricing, quoting, ordering, renewals, integrations, and data consistency. Manages defects in JIRA, performs impact analysis, maintains regression suites, and collaborates with Salesforce administrators, developers, product owners, and stakeholders. Requires strong CPQ lifecycle knowledge, SOQL, CI/CD, DevOps, Agile, and API testing experience.

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications with a focus on CPQ
- Validate end-to-end CPQ life cycle workflows, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all stages:
- Product configuration, bundles, and product rules.
- Pricing rules, discount schedules, and price calculations.
- Quote creation, amendments, renewals, and cancellations.
- Quote templates and document generation.
- Perform integration testing between Salesforce CPQ and downstream systems including:
- Billing systems (e.g., OIC).
- ERP systems (Oracle).
- Order Management platforms.
- Execute and maintain regression test suites post releases and deployments to ensure system stability
- Conduct impact analysis for new changes to prevent breakage in existing quote and pricing flows
- Own defect life cycle management: log, prioritize, track, and retest defects using JIRA with clear reproduction steps and business impact
- Collaborate with Salesforce Admins, Developers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage
- Perform API testing for CPQ integrations using tools like Postman:
- Validate REST/SOAP services
- Verify request/response payloads
- Ensure data consistency across systems
- Must have minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ testing.
- Deep understanding of CPQ data model and lifecycle (Product → Pricing → Quote → Order), Product rules, Price rules, Quote templates, Discount schedules, Approval workflows, Contracting & renewals
- Expertise in Functional testing.
- Proven experience testing complex pricing logic, product rules, and discounting scenarios.
- Exposure to Salesforce CPQ / Partner Community licenses.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of security testing and role hierarchy validation in Salesforce.
- Basic SOQL knowledge for data validation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
