Job Description
You will be a member of a team collaborating and working together towards technology transformation goals of Experian Technology team.
What you’ll need to bring to the party
- Programming Skills: Strong Programming skills with Extensive knowledge of object-oriented architecture and modern frontend frameworks.
- Technology & Script: Java / J2EE, Java Basics / Core Java /Advance Java, Web Services, JSP Servlets, Java script toolkits, Web/Application Servers, OO and relational modeling skills, OOPS. Framework - Spring, Hibernate
- DB Skills: Basic DB administration experience (db2, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Networking: Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
- Experience with tools: BitBucket. GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile software development, Agile XP and project management methodologies. Usage of Kanban board and project management tool like Jira
- Web/UI: Angular, Velocity, Apache Wicket
- DevOps: Continuous integration and continuous deployment experience and exposure to DevOps practices
- Experience with various architectures: Domain Driven Design, Microservices, Cloud Native and Event Driven Architecture.
- Attitude to manage issues proactively including timely resolution and the identification of remediation opportunities
- Fail fast approach to align to product engineering standards
Qualifications
More about you
- 5-8 years of experience
- Constant curiosity and a desire to improve yourself and your fellow engineers.
- Exposure to Financial Services and Banking concepts.
- Experience in Cloud architecture (AWS) would be an advantage
- Experience in JBoss, Apache Tomcat would be an advantage
- Experience in Angular, Node and React JS would be an advantage
- Experience in Apache Shiro would be an advantage
- Experience in Insurance domain and claims module would be an advantage
