JOB SUMMARY
The Senior People Business Partner (PBP), serves as a strategic partner to the on-site India Leadership team. This role provides cross functional business support locally in partnership with functionally aligned PBPs in the U.S, as well as Head of People in India. Developing relationships with business leaders, understanding evolving business contexts, stakeholder expectations, business requirements and translating them into talent, culture, and leadership strategy and action is critical to success. In addition, there is a significant contribution to building TriNet culture and brand within our GCC bridging US and India dynamics,and aligning with TriNet's business and operational objectives. The PBP acts as a credible activist and has a clear perspective about how to improve business performance.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Integrates business strategy with people management practices through the collaboration with internal HR experts across People Success, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and People Operations.
- Partners with leaders to contribute to the development and execution of strategic workforce plans with clear, meaningful steps, that optimize the organization’s talent, structure, process, and culture.
- Assists assigned groups with implementing and adapting strategies to meet changing business needs and talent requirements while ensuring that human resource practices and principles are carried out accurately and effectively.
- Collaborates with People Success for HR consulting, coaching, advising, and reporting on employee relations issues.
- Contributes to the planning, development and implementation of organizational culture, policies and procedures, tools, and resources to colleagues; monitoring client group environments and the employee experience; and, reporting out on trends.
- Guides and partners closely with the People team colleagues to ensure compliance, procedural and operational items are completed correctly.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience Required.
- Master’s Degree in HR and/or equivalent experience Preferred.
Work Experience
- Typically 12+ years’ Experience in human resources and/or business partner related positions.
- Experience working in US public company or global company with role supporting the US.
- Experience with US Employment practices.
Licenses and Certifications
- Human Resources certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to provide creative solutions and unique approaches to HR/business challenges
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation/persuasion and conflict management skills
- Demonstrated consulting and/or change management skills.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills
- Possess strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to work with a distributed workforce across multiple time zones
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to help drive business results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Oracle HCM experience a plus.
