About the Role
We seeka Senior Backend Developer to help build and scale backend services that power our mental health care platform. You’ll be working on high-impact features, leading architectural decisions, and contributing to a system used by clients and providers nationwide.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in Node.js (NestJS), TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and API development (REST/GraphQL)—with a solid grasp of scalability and modern software architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust backend systems and scalable APIs (REST/GraphQL)
- Implement and optimize PostgreSQL queries and data models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver backend solutions
- Contribute to architectural discussions focused on performance, scalability, and security
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
- Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure when needed
Must-Have:
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js and NestJS
- 3–4 years of professional experience with TypeScript
- 5+ years of hands-on work with PostgreSQL
- 4+ years in API development (REST and/or GraphQL)
- Solid experience in software architecture and designing scalable systems
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to React or Next.js
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
