- Digital Enterprise Technology IT (DET IT) is at the forefront of driving enterprise transformation at Salesforce. Guided by our core values—Trust, Ohana, and Innovation—we go beyond traditional IT by partnering closely with the business to deliver impactful, scalable outcomes.
- DET IT owns the technology strategy and execution for Salesforce Financial Systems across Record-to-Report (R2R), Revenue Recognition (Rev Rec), Quote-to-Cash (QTC), and Tax. We operate across application engineering, integrations, infrastructure, architecture, and program enablement to build resilient, scalable, and business-centric solutions.
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing engineering team
- Drive technical strategy and execution for financial systems and integrations
- Champion engineering excellence, automation, and innovation
- Partner with business and technology leaders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions
- Hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent; foster a culture of ownership, growth, and accountability
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
- Drive end-to-end delivery of financial systems, including integrations and automation frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and execution plans
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps principles
- Lead integration strategy leveraging platforms like MuleSoft and Workday
- Oversee test automation strategy to ensure high-quality, reliable releases
- Manage stakeholder communication, risks, and delivery timelines effectively
- Work with global teams across time zones and manage vendor/partner contributions
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering, operations, and delivery processes
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including proven experience in engineering management
- Strong domain expertise in any of Cloud ERP systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle) across QTC, R2R, Revenue Recognition, and Tax
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams delivering complex, large-scale enterprise systems
- Experience with integrations (preferably MuleSoft) and enterprise platforms like Workday
- Strong focus on engineering excellence, automation, and operational scalability
- Experience managing distributed teams and external vendor partners
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and modern software delivery practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred)
