What you are accountable for:

The Senior Manager, Media Operations is accountable for managing all aspects of the media operations process and workflow. Working in close collaboration with numerous functions, including but not limited to: Finance, Analytics, Client Services and Media leads. This role ensures operational excellence in campaign execution, financial tracking, and process development while acting as a strategic leader and manager within the Media Operations function.

In addition to managing campaign operations, the Senior Manager plays a critical role in building out and enhancing scalable processes in partnership with the VP, Media Operations and cross-functional stakeholders. This role is responsible for ensuring that media operations drives efficiency, improves accuracy in financial reconciliation, and ensures alignment between cross-functional teams to enable media teams to focus on strategy and performance.

What you are responsible for:

  • Ensure operational efficiency by defining and maintaining standardized workflows across Media Operations, Finance, and Analytics to support seamless campaign execution.
  • Support media plan activation management in close collaboration with Media.
  • Manage budget pacing and financial oversight, tracking spend across channels for a select number of accounts, making proactive optimization recommendations, and ensuring alignment with Media, Finance, and Analytics.
  • Own vendor partner invoice management, streamlining invoice review and approval processes, acting as the liaison between Finance, Media and vendor partners.
  • Oversee monthly actualizations and campaign reconciliation, ensuring timely and accurate spend tracking in collaboration with Finance, Media, and Client Services.
  • Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and in partnership with VP, Global Media Operations, implement scalable solutions to enhance efficiency across financial and media workflows.
  • Drive adoption of standardized processes across teams and regions.
  • Support process audits and data quality initiatives to maintain system accuracy.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on trends and gaps observed across operational workflows.
  • Exhibit the ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Directly manage and develop Media Operations team members, providing coaching and career guidance.
  • Help train and support new Media Operations teammates, reinforcing best practices with financial processes, pacing methodologies, and reconciliation workflows to improve execution quality.
